SWE Philadelphia Outreach Support Guidelines
The SWE Philadelphia Section is committed to the women and engineering communities we serve and is pleased to contribute to worthy causes in those communities. The Section will make charitable donations to organizations seeking funding for local student outreach programs and activities that align with the mission and objectives of the Society of Women Engineers. These include:
- Stimulate women to achieve full potential in careers as engineers and leaders
- Expand the image of the engineering profession as a positive force in improving the quality of life
- Demonstrate the value of diversity
- Inform young women, their parents, counselors, and the general public of the qualifications and achievements of women engineers and the opportunities open to them.
In order to be eligible for a donation from SWE-Philadelphia:
